Born in Hermeskeil in 1922, apprentice as a mechanic in Frankfurt am Main, forced labor in a “Jewish crew” (Judenkolonne) as of 1940, deportation to the Buna/Monowitz concentration camp in 1943, work in the infirmary and elsewhere, death march in Jan. 1945, liberation in Buchenwald, now a veterinarian living in Polch.
